Boyle is very centrally located at then northern end of County Roscommon in the West of Ireland. We are about 100 miles from Dublin on the N4 in an area of outstanding beauty. Beautiful nature abounds in the region, with clean rivers for fishing and boating.

and is certainly worth a visit.
Another attraction is Boyle Abbey, a Cistercian
Abbey dating from the 12th Century, it is merely a five minute walk from the our B and B.
A celebrated Cistercian house situated on the River Boyle, it was founded by Maurice O'Duffy in the year 1161, and was in close connection with Mellifont, the parent house of the Cistercian Order in Ireland. In the year 1218 (Annals of Ireland) the church of Boyle Abbey was solemnly consecrated.
Fishing, Shooting, Walking, Golf, and many other outdoor pursuits
are all within easy access of your accommodation at Linsfort. Boyle is on the main Sligo to Dublin train line with
eight trains each way every day,
also a Bus service to and from Dublin, Sligo and Derry calls to Boyle every day.
In the summer months Boyle's social scene is increased with the very lively
Boyle Arts Festival which is held at the end of July every year.
Many of Boyle's pubs feature live music many nights a week through out the year.
We are located a few miles from the Saddlers Inn, Kingsland, Boyle. The Saddlers Inn is a very popular country music venue. We can arrange taxis for you there and back.
